Crew Mohawks
An interdisciplinary work for children/youth featuring Indigenous dancers, performers, storytellers and music, to acknowledge Native American culture, issues and history as how Mohawks built our city in the past and in the present. Broadway the way we know it today was part of a traditional trade route stretching up and down the Eastern seaboard or that our city represents hundreds of U.S. Tribal Nations. Finally NYC is home to the largest population of Urban Indians.
